RED BARON vs Betalink

I wanted to thank Red Baron/Luc for coming by yesterday and painstakingly removing my cracked CF splitter for 2 hr (which was installed with Betalink by the dealer) and installing my new OEM splitter! He did an excellent job. It was nice to meet a fellow enthusiast, particularly one who is quite knowledgeable on all things e9X M3. I highly recommend Luc!

Did you use Betacleaner? I'm getting ready to attempt this, but am very discouraged by all the threads I've read on here about the paint being damaged. I'm not concerned with the condition of the splitters during or after removal, but I am worried about damaging the bumper or the paint/clearcoat.

Please let us know how it goes... maybe dilute it prior and test an area?

He just used very strong fishing line and a heat gun to take it off. Some paint came off during the process but it was minimal and essentially hidden by the splitter; but that's the trade off of not having to buy a new bumper.
