So you had 2 track days on the Mintex pads that came with the AP BBK?

Yes - probably around 2-3 hours of track time each day

Tried to take a quick pick with the wheels on with my iPhone and didn't turn out well. Visually they don't look that worn at all - pretty impressed. Have a track day lined up for early June.

My OEM european style 260 18" wheels shipped out today from Tischer.
So hopefully I should have them by next week.
I will test fit them and confirm if they do or do not clear.

I tested fitted my 18" Advan RS wheels and they clear the AP calipers with plenty of room for those interested.
Want to thank Chris@AP for answering all my Qs about brake pads.

The Advans are 18x9.5 ET25 fronts and the rears are 18x10 ET20.
Plenty of room in the front.

I tested fitted my European OEM 18" wheels today. The fronts are extremely tight!!
I would say there was only a few mm clearance.
I did not have a camera with me take photos, but you would not be able to fit weights between the caliper and the lip of the wheel.
When I swap my street wheels back on I will do a fitting again and get some pics.

I was gonna use these for winter, but Im afraid if any salt or stones get got in there, it will really do some damage.

Here are some pics of the wheel.
The part number from the wheel is the correct one for the EU spec wheel.

Could you do me a favor before you put tires on them? Snap a photo of the outside of the barrel (that will eventually be inside the tire) of the hole for the valve stem? The Style 219's have a flat spot for the TPMS sensor there, and I'm wondering if the Style 260's have it too.

Also, do the 260's look "close enough" to the 219's that you could put 260's on the front and 219's on the back without looking strange?

Sure, I can do that for you. I actually think these had the flat spot as well.
I just ordered a camera, so hopefully be here soon.

I think you can mix totally and match the 260 and 219s, as long as the finish is the same.

Is it the barrel or the spoke I need to watch out for mostly? What part of the BBK will move or potentially move and hit the wheel? The barrel is super tight but it clears.

The closest point of approach is the inside of the barrel to the outside top corner of the caliper. The caliper is rigidly attached to the hub, so it's not moving. The wheel might flex a bit, but frankly when I was running my 219's with 10mm spacers at the track with R888's they never touched, and they had less than 2mm clearance.

A quick way to check the clearance is to use the end of an allen key as a feeler guage. If you can slip a 2mm allen key through the gap between the wheel and the caliper at any point where the caliper gets close to the rim barrel, you're good. A 3mm one is better, but 2's enough.

I will try that next week. They do have decent clearance from the spokes, so I think they will work just as AP said, but I need to double check on the caliper clearance.
