Help! How much should I pay for this E93 M3?

Hi guys, I currently own an e92 335i and I'm looking to upgrade to an e93 M3.

Can anyone tell me how much should I be paying for this M3? I know most M-Cars at BMW dealers are overly inflated, and was hoping you guys can provide some insight on the true value of these cars. Let me know anything else that you guys think I should know.

http://crm.bmw.ca/en-CA/PreOwned/Sea...71#details-top

Thanks in advance!

I'm not in CA so I don't know the $ conversion. But, I think what they're asking is a bit much. PROS: convertible M3, looks like fully loaded with Navi and sound. CONS: 6MT and high mileage. The CONS will really hurt the price of the car.

Don't get me wrong, I have a 6MT. I love it. But to most people it's not a option when driving a car. So that will be really hard to sell. I would negotiate hard with the dealer. They also know this.

Garage List
2011 BMW E93 M3  [0.00]
2004 BMW M3  [9.50]
2015 BMW F80 M3  [0.00]
1997 BMW 840CI  [9.50]
2011 BMW X5 M  [10.00]
2008 BMW 335i Conve ...  [8.40]
Sounds a bit pricey to me for such high mileage.

Here's a link to another E93 with less km for very similar price

Good luck!

Low $50's would be fair. Afterall, it's coming to be a 5 yr old car. I have a feeling the dealer would probably want $56K minimum for it.

Lots of M3 are listed for low 50's in other online classifieds.

I need advice on whether on I should wait for an 09 as well, I really want the 09 IDrive as I already have the 08 IDrive which is mediocre at best. The higher clicks for this car is also a turn off, but the car still has new warranty till Jan 2013 + Certified Series Warranty and I can live with it if I get the car for low 50s. The 09+ prices for the M3 are ridiculous as they seem to be commanding an 8k+ premium in relation to the 08 models. I'm going to call the dealer this week and negotiate but anyone think I should hold out and continue the search (problem is my 335i is my daily and the value is gradually dropping with the added kms)?

If you can wait, November & December could be a good time to get a better deal done as winter is here and I doubt there are that many M3 will be sold by the dealer in such time slot.

I suggest if your heart is set on getting a 2009+ M3, then wait until you see one that you like because you don't want to regret a major purchase as you will be driving it for the next few years.

I would wait until January/February..that's when things really slow down - especially for verts. It'll be a ghost town when people are recovering from their holiday spending.

Wait for an 09. I am astonished at the price dealership is asking with this mileage.

Use this site to see how much used cars are worth in Canada, either trade-in or private sale.

These days dealer will offer you 2-3k less than the number you will see on the blackbook for your trade and later they will sell your car 15-20k more than they take it from you.

09+ idrive is a huge difference. I had an 08 before and it doesnt' come anywhere close to the 09+ idrive. Very low 50's, high 40's is reasonable for this car. At the end of the day it has 63,000KM certified series warranty or not.
