What shoes do you wear to drive the beast?

Pretty random question, I know - and it would probably be better phrased as "What shoes do you prefer wearing when driving the beast".

I know that in the 335, and I foresee for the upcoming M, I always wear the same shoes - Piloti Prototipos or Avus. Whether I am going to a function or whatever, I always wear those shoes and then change back to formal shoes when I reach. I even do this during the winter with boots! I wear size 15 so formal shoes usually get stuck up above the pedals () making it quite weird to drive!!

What about you guys?

^ hmm, those look pretty natural & comfy.

I wear some bright orange Puma driving shoes, which I bought for $20 on sale.

Or I wear my ROCKPORT dress shoes when I'm all dressed up.

+1 I like wearing my black Pumas when I'm driving. They're great driving shoes, narrow and not bulky at all. I didn't even know there were //M Pumas?

I have a pair of BMW F1 Pumas but they're uncomfortable if I try to walk around in them all day. So if I wear them for driving I take a pair of regular shoes to change into. I also have a pair of vintage style driving shoes made by Skechers but they're pretty beat up.

Anything but my dress shoes. The leather gets scuffed from shifting a la 6MT.

Oh and flip flops are hard for me to shift smoothly.

I'm not sure which is more tragic; creating this thread or the rest of us reading and responding to it!

They are all black with the tri-color M stripes across the front and M badges on the side and back. They were hard to find in the first place but if you need a size above a 10 they are even more difficult to find. Took like 2 months till I finally got them.
