E90 Trade in.

sparkyg
are you going to trade your 335 back to calgary bmw. That is the best deal because they will discount the cost and you only have to pay the GST on the difference. I'm sure you figgered that out.

Yeah, doing the trade-in. Taking a loss obviously but yes the GST is a plus.

It would be a hard sell in Etown given the propensity for pickup trucks here. Easier to sell a $60k Dodge Ram.

They will sell the car no prob down there, it is a much better market for our cars.

SparkyG,

My M3 is on order at EdmBMW. I was originally planning to have it on order for December delivery, but then thought I would just try and wait for an April 1 delivery. I have asked the dealership to order it accordingly.

I can empathize with you on dealer choices. My business had previously been with Bavaria BMW exclusively, but there general sales GM need to get a stat education on customer service. I don't like to dicker around on price and that guy over there wasted my time on so many occasions in dealing with my trade in of my 07 BMW X5 that I decided to leave Bavaria. The dumb thing is that I was trading in my X5 for an e92 M3, and planning on buying an 09 328xi for my wife and an X3 for my parents. So, in trying to dick me out of $2000 on my trade, he lost 3 sales.

I happened to be dealing with Jorge at Edmonton BMW at the same time, in order to see which dealership was going to give me the best deal on my trade (since its value tanked $40K in 16 months!). Well, lo and behold, Bavaria decided to call Edmonton BMW (IN FRONT OF ME no less) to verify the price that Edmonton BMW was offering.

Long and short, if you want to verify what I am telling you, don't me a disrespectful dick and do it in front of me. Call when I leave. Dipshits. Anyhow, Jorge has been straight forward and upfront, and thus far my dealings with them have been fine. We in fact bought my wife's 328xi yesterday.

Now just the X3 left.

Sorry for thread hijacking there...your comment on the dealerships lit a previously extinguished fuse.

Jorge is a good guy. I worked with him before I got my 335xi in Calgary.

AMJ and I will add more details as we are both working on deals.

Sometimes in Etown both dealers act like there is not other choice in town. Funny, I am pretty sure there is hwy that heads south.

I hope it all goes well for you, not enough good stories from dealers here in town.

Deal is looking good for me.

Silverstone E90 M3 loaded with Black Novillo and Sycamore Anthracite trim, 6MT.

Hella rebate on the car and great financing till I pay it off. Gotta love cheap money.

Car is in Ontario so needs to ship here. Gotta get some bumper plugs since it is already drilled for Ontario

I called Bavaria nd put a set on hold there but big $$$ at $4300.

I am concerned that there will be no rim/tire combo to fit the car given our massive brakes.

I'll try to spec a set on Tire rack. Cheaper that BMW for sure.

EDit: Checked Tire Rack, tires yes, rims no unless you consider BBS rims good winter rims. $3900 USD for a total package.

Tire Warehouse has some reps that might fit the M3, I'll ask 'em

Update.

My car comes in on the 10th Nov.

I am getting winter tires for the 18". The car was supposed to get 19's but the other Ont dealer sold'em.

I am getting aftermarket rims instead. 19's ftw!!

Something like these.

Angry

looks like you not only one.. I got my car from them last September, drove it for 15k during year and try to trade it in for brand new car and they want to trade my car in for original price - 20k!!!! no one has problem with them making money, but there should be some limits.

Trade-in is a bad deal always. That is just the way it is.

It is more of a convenience factor than a way for you to get all your $$ back on the car.

I see that you got your SS2. Let me know when you get it to town so I can see it. If there is no snow I won't have mine in storage yet. Not to many winter tire options I see at tire rack the one that is there is pretty good. I really like my Dunlop M3's on my 530.

I'll PM you when it comes in and we can do coffee on your side of town.

I am getting it with winters on the factory 18's so Muchelin Artic Alpin PA2 or PA3.

I am getting rid of the summer 18's so either thru the dealership or privately.
