I suppose since he is considering this "custom dyno tuning"....that you couldn't bring in your ecu tunes that day and get the $75 price, huh? How many runs do you need to make? 2 before the ecu mod and then 2 afterwards? Could youg et away with doing only 3?
Nah, we get to do as many as it takes to get good, solid info. So, what will happen is, one car gets strapped down and does a few baseline runs. Next, that same car gets flashed(10-20 min). Finally, after the car is flashed, a few more post-flash runs will be done. That way we can compare PRE and POST dynos. So, again, in essence, we're getting 2 sessions for the price of 1 at $60 each. Of course, this is a group rate we're getting.

WOW!

Guys, this is a GREAT deal at Carb Conn and Powerchip seems solid as well. What a fantastic way to prove or disprove claims.

Bring USB sticks, you can take your dyno files home and download free DynoJet software from DJ web site.

Last stock M3 that dynoed there put 333 WHP against my slightly (headers) modified Cayman S at 289.

Please post results here as I am CURIOUS.

I am lurking here as I am considering M3 as my next car. Wife wants me to drive something with room for kids.

I do not want to jack this thread, but can someone point me to threads on occasionally tracking the M3 and dealer warranty. I am likely to install springs and BBK on the car as well.

I track my M3 as do several other local forum members. My Service Advisor is Alex Long at BMW Seattle. He races an Euro spec e36M3 and is very helpful and supportive. I've had no issues and have a number of mods including lowering springs, exhaust, wheels, BBK.

I'm lovin it so far...the car is much smoother then before. It's just like how everybody describes the tune. The engine just feels more powerful then before. I still haven't had time to post my dynos on here but rest assured I will. I think the initial gain was only +10hp. Expecting more of a difference next time around. Need to let the ECU kind of re-learn itself again. Don't wanna get caught up in the numbers game tho. The driveability of the car is very improved. Power delivery feels smoother then before....I'll save the rest for when I post my dynos.

Hey, u know what...Now that I'm thinking about it, I believe I already sent my Dyno's to PG and he has them posted in the dyno db. If not, I'll look for them and email them to you. One thing to note is that the last dyno I had was with the full akra system but minus the technocraft charge pipe. The charge-pipe actually made a pretty big difference in HP....I believe it was 6 or 7 whp. Sorry for getting back to you so late, I've been incredibly busy as of late.
