Angry $41 for a DRL bulb

My passenger side DRL bulb is out. Dealer across the road wants 40 bux for it Can someone please provide the part# so I can look for this elsewhere. Real OEM is showing everything but the part# I want (#8).

You drive an M3. You could have had the dealer swap that and been down the road quick.

I am asking for part numbers so I can order it from tischer or the BMW parts store. If you morons have nothing useful to add GTFU.

It's cuz of ignorant %# like you that dealers are able to charge what they do.

Looks like getbmwparts has them for 24+6 shipping. 30$ to your mailbox. Congrats you have successfully wasted time, went on a forum rant and saved 10$. Hope it was worth it.

I didn't know what it would cost, just didn't think it should be $40+. I order a whole lot more from those guys so shipping ends up being free. Thank you for not providing the part# which is what I was looking for. And thank you for helping me save almost 40 bux since I had to buy 2. Free shipping....remember

It was never about saving 10 bux. I have paid over the top prices for stuff that is needed urgently. DRL doesn't happen to be one of them.

Yeah,....I have to agree with OP that $80 for a pair of H8 bulb is just bullshit!

I would go on ebay and upgrade to LED bulbs for $40 a pair.

You don't NEED a BMW H8 bulb. H8 can be found a lots of places.

For future reference, if you need OEM parts, these are two cheap OEM dealers:

D2S bulbs, for example, are $40 (Philips), so for two measly bulbs, it's ~100, rounded up. Dealers charge what they charge for many reason but one of them is for people who don't know any better

just saying...

Husker Auto group. Very inexpensive BMW OEM parts.
I think this is what you're looking for:

Yep, those two are the cheapest OEM dealers I've seen

You'll be pleasantly surprised how cheap an oil change kit is here. You just need to know part numbers

$40 is insane for an H8 bulb. $10 or so at any pepboys, etc.

I have an OEM bulb if u want it. 25$ negotiable. Mine just went out recently also.

I had to have OEM because in my opinion it's the best part for my m3. It was off a new 2013.

Had I seen this earlier I would have given you my bulbs for just the cost of shipping them to you.

Anyway, glad you got it all sorted out.
