Coilovers: What's Your Ride Height?

If you have coilovers, how high/low have you set your ride height? I assume the place most people set/measure ride height is at the highest part of the wheel well? I'm mostly interested in setting ride height for performance.

Stock, with ZCP, my ride height was about 26 3/8" at the top center of each wheel well, at each corner. I don't think I'm going to go much lower.

If you look at some recent posts/threads with STALKER and myself, both of us are basically trying to get to the 14"/13.5" front/rear measured from the fender lip to the center of the hub. I've been messing with mine for a few weeks and have maxed out my adjusters on the rear so I need to take care of that to raise things up.

I was reading through some other posts but I can't find anything real definitive on stock ride height but from this post it mentions that stock ride height is 355mm or ~14". If so am I correct in understanding that you are looking to setup the fronts at stock ride height? and the rears at 0.5" lower? As measured from fender lip to the center of the hub.

Thanks,
Royce M

I wish I could tell you exactly. I keep going over the numbers. Right now I am at 12.75" at the front and it is too low. I think it needs to come up 0.25" if not 0.5". Where it gets fuzzy is that my front and rear measurements (stock) were not the same. Also, I have a ZCP car and I'm not sure exactly what the documented ride height is for the ZCP, but it should be 10mm lower. I'll have some adjusters in the morning so I will be in the thick of it again soon.

I'm on KW Clubsports.
After playing with the heights a bit, these are my heights, I was lower.

RF 23 3/4 LF 23 7/8
RR 23 1/8 LR 23 1/8

From fender to lower bottom edge of rim. I'm on 19s.

Just got my KW Clubsports on and I'm at 23.5 inches in the front and 23.75 inches in the rear. Measurement is from the fender to the bottom of the wheel rim.
