Sure new iDrive not a good reason, but an enhancement that may lead to more satisfaction (lease for 2 years - so what?; buy like I do for 5 - more important).

I only regret was not getting the loan check earlier last week. My car interest creeped up a .25 point, thats a increase of $6/mo payment. $360 over the life of the loan that could have paid for a V1 radar detector

Regrets? Not at all. If anything, I'm loving my car more each day!

Call me crazy, but I don't think we'll see the new iDrive in any 3-series for a little while let alone in the 09s.

It's amazing that IDrive takes a JPL physicist to operate it...

I know numerous people in their 50's who have it, and have absolutely no problem with it...

I regret not getting the sedan. I like the coupe (looks) but the functionality of the sedan(putting stuff in the back seat area) as well as the cheaper price I think if I was doing it over I would get the sedan.

None at all. The new idrive looks/sounds like an improvement (the current idrive in my M is worlds better than my father's 2nd gen idrive though), but that is a very minor tweak. Seems odd that they wouldn't include it in the launch M3's. I'll believe it when I see it that if it shows up in the 09s.

A slighter deeper exhaust note down low in the RPMs would be nice though.

I got the Sedan, and I believe that this may truly be the greatest 4 door car ever built. Seriously.
