its similar to how bmw recommends an oil change after the first 1500 or so miles. same concept with SC oil.

I had one on an old e46 m3 and it was supposed to be changed after 500 miles and then every 5k miles.

Why are you selling? Seems odd that the S/C was installed 1000 miles ago and now you are willing to take a big hit on the kit+install .. :/

did you replace the rod bearings as well along with the supercharger?

No. I don't think so it's needed at 50k. May be around 75k might get it replaced.
