Look at it this way, IND is getting paid and folks are gainfully employed because of Felix's project. He's doing his part for the economy.

This way the folks at IND can feed the starving kids in Africa.
That's a very good way to look at it

What will you say next after he buys an exotic and then mods that too? Should've bought a helicopter?

Power beast this car is truly exceptional and I believe the majority of us are excited, intrigued, understand the modding and appreciate it.

I don't know too many of you personally (wish I did and lived closer) but you can understand a lot about a person as to how they go about their lifestyles and how their treat their personal property (as well as others). We all work hard for the right to do whatever we want with the income we bring in and at the end of the day it's a passion and hobby like anything else.

We all at some point rationalize and assess tangible and intangible things in life.

With the money on modding and cars I have spent over the years I'm sure I could of purchased something very exotic or have a lot more saved up. But, I spend a lot of time in the car and I love the hobby/sport of it (as we all do).

I know plenty of people that will drop big money on a vacation, but drive a modest vehicle. Just different strokes for different folks.

I am certainly envious and a little jealous but in a good way. And yes what we spend on your cars does keep people employed. I am in the staffing business and its horrible to see how much work is outsourced overseas because its cheap.

Cannot wait to see the next step!

If you didn't like the car, that's completely understandable as you're entitled to your own opinion on taste. However this is a forum of enthusiast that modify their cars. Otherwise we would all have stock M3's. So your opinion regarding what he should do with his money is redundant therefore will cause a shit storm of negative comments towards you. That's the internet and you should know how it works.

You guys crack me up..so if I am not prepared to mod my car to the N-th degree that means I am not an enthusiast?

Not averse to modding at all.. I am on here to learn about it..I have modded my M3 somewhat..but IMO there is a point where modding becomes a hopeless exercise

I do support feeding the starving African children

Exactly were all hopeless. No one is saying there is a threshold to the level of modding until you can be called an enthusiast. We just love to mod more than others and it never ends.

If I or anyone else can afford it then whats it to you. Just live your life without accounting for other peoples money. If he has money to "burn" so be it, no need to state something like that. All that is gonna do is cause a convo like this one to fire up for no reason lol.

ScreaM's comment was probably a bit harsh and not in the overall spirit of the thread, but just be aware that there have been plenty of posts on this board criticizing 335i owners for spending lots of money customizing their cars--"Instead of dumping all of that $ in your 335, you should have just bought an M3 instead." Anyone saying that customizing a 335 instead of buying an M3 is silly and wasteful, then turning around and saying customizing an M3 instead of buying a Porsche or Ferrari or Lambo is not wasteful, is just being hypocritical. Can't have it both ways.

Powerbeast and iND, looking forward to seeing the finished product.
