AA full exhaust system, signature muffler with catless X-pipe
no dings no scratches just 7K miles broken in and she sounds like an F1 car.

Sean the tips measure 3" around they look like they are double walled
As for the sound clip I have none
But there is a thread link with all the exhaust systems on this forum just use the search feature I sent you some pics will get you some better ones in the am thx for your interest

hmm did a search and found some videos

Persian I am sure you know this already from all the extensive info on aftermarket mufflers, yes each one of them is going to have some drone especially around the low 2k rpm!
AA has a slight drone around that range as well, you said you saw a clip and you did not like the sound, I am hear to tell you that the AA system is AMAZING I have had countless people driving in down the street pull up next to me to compliment me on the sound of the car, not the look the sound! Take it from me the clips on the forum don't do any of these mufflers any justice, if your a serious buyer in the market for one of these please go to a M3 meet near your town and listen to the various systems!

that's exactly why I had mentioned that if you yourself heard a clip you would be able to distinguish if it sounded like your car or not

But no, not all exhaust drone around the low 2k RPM :P

Cmon Persian your a major general on this forum, which means you have over 7000 post I know for a fact that you have read about the resonating or slight drone this AA system has at 2k rpm, just like you have proven only 2 out of 10-20 exhaust systems don't have a drone, but also like you have proven those cost an arm and a leg. So that means your not going to buy any one of those because they're expensive!
Mine on the other hand is in mint condition, broken in and it's almost 50% off of list! The sound is amazing not because I said so, it's because 95% of those who bought AA say so!
So where does this leave us you buying mine for $3000, plus shipping
Or you just move on ? Let me know.

I'm going to do some more reading on the AA.

Unfortunately, I never considered it since the retail was way too much (2600 for the rear section, and another 2k for the Xpipe, so new it's in Akra territory)

buuutt you have this deal, so I'm going to have to do more research.

of my 7k posts, at most 1k are in the M3 forum, not even. Probably more like 3-400 lol.

Excuse my French but holy shit, do you get any compliments with your current set up?

A couple maybe, well let me tell you the x pipe will be louder at wot and a little louder at start up till she warms up but holy cow my man wait till you go under a bridge or tunnel and you open her up it's amazing!
It's more like an F1 car middle of the road roar with scream mixed in if that makes sense

Here is one of my experiences driving home from wherever and in my rear I see this guy in a jeep Cherokee weaving in and out till he makes it next to me and signals me to roll my window down he was in his 40-50's and starts yelling with a island accent BMW is the shit mon this thing sound wicked etc etc
That is a weekly occurrence no lie.

If you have a tune you will add hp and torque to your set up as well with this x pipe
