Building week

Guys/gals,

I'm sorry if this is a repeated question i appologise in advance just incase it is.

Everytime I go through a forum i see people saying they're build week is the 22nd or 21st or watever some week no.s that i dont really get its meaning. Is there a chance that anyone can explain to me its meaning, where do u get it from and when do u get it?

My car is ordered and everytime I call the 1800 no. it says that it doesn't have a confirmed build date yet, so i thought i'd ask.

week 24 = june 9th. Just as in 52 weeks in the year. You can speak to an operator and they can give you better information.

so when you say operator you mean the one on the 1800 no. is that correct?

ayman36 wonder why you have to wait, did you order 19" wheels. My order on the 4th of June started production on June 9, hit the port on the 17th, is now enroute most likely on the Elektra which docks in NY on 7/10. I ordered the Sedan with DCT, 18" will almost all options. Hope this information helps. the 1800 number is very helpful, talk to a rep instead of using the automated system.

I ordered mine around the 12June, I just talked to a rep. my production is on week29 i guess around begining to mid July, I got the coupe, 18", DCT fully loaded. It sucks that i have to wait that long lol but I guess I won't be in town till around mid august so I might make it just on time, which is not bad after all.

The wait sucks though, M3after330i your order sure was fasssst, if i may say super fast lol i was told that it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks from the order date lucky u
