Sound may be coming from vanos units or a hydraulic timing component that oil has drain out from days of not having oil pressure. S65 runs of oil pump for timing hydraulics older M motors had dedicated pumps and gas charged cylinders to help hold oil in timing hydraulics.

That was a video taken of the first initial start up of the built motor , a lot is going on considering its the first initial start up as the oil needs to be pumped so on so forth...

There are a few oil check valves in the S65 engine...like this one that prevents oil from draining from the heads down to the block when the engine is off.

I also picked the AWRON gauge from Eas and let me tell you
This gauge is "Sick" and a must have if your supercharged !
Makes monitoring and trouble shooting a breeze.
Installation was a slight challenge but Tom @ Eas made it a breeze as he was on standby to answer questions that I had.

I also opted for the intake runner for boost which is a pretty sleek piece.
