Heat Shielding Question???

Hello

I noticed I am missing quite a few pop rivets (see pics) from the underneath of my E92 M3, the ones that secure part the heat shielding to the undertray part - However I have been told there should be screws here and not pop rivets - Is this true? If so (I know my cat has some damaged)

I believe those are rivets, and mine has a few missing or loose as well.

Can anyone else confirm there should be Pop rivers here? I only need to know as I'm going to buy some to secure it properly

Are you going to buy a pop rivers tool as well? Get some screws and be done with it.

Yes they're pop rivets. I've replaced a bunch already.

Sorry, don't recall, but they were of the larger variety that I had. The holes get elongated as well.
