Can't wear sandals to work anymore. I recently moved back to Kuala Lumpur for work and now that I'm back in a "business setting", I gotta keep it professional.

I took it as a good sign that they're interested in my issue. The woman I spoke with couldn't have been nicer and she is following through with this process and will get back to me next week. I guess the buy back has to be approved, so that's what I'm waiting on now.

If they are interested in you, I'm sure that they'll go through a lot of trouble to find out who you are on the forums.

They'll search for your name, email address, car by model/year/color/options, they'll look through your threads and get your license plate from pictures, etc...

Well, I checked my settings extra and my real name shouldn't be on here

I generally, to the best of my knowledge, have all of my license plates blurred out (hell on my m3, I haven't even ran a license plate....)

my email address doesn't contain my legal name, nor is it associated with anything BMW related

and my location also isn't my legal location in regards to BMW

So should I be good...?

Not giving your legal name, showing your license plates, or real location is a good start, but sometimes it's hard to cover all of your tracks. Sending you a PM right now...

That would suck if they just started voiding warranties left and right. I know that would never happen but thats pretty crazy that they would monitor a forum and go through a lot of trouble to find out who someone is.
