Thanks! And those are actually velocity stacks. Or intake trumpets.

The throttle body butterflies are right underneath

May I ask a dummy Q here: what does the pulley in fact do? Any benefits if to deal with the hassles? Some say it heats up quite rapidly?

Great car! Posts like these remind me of why I love an M3 or Porsche, simplicity in terms of the track. You can take it off the dealer floor, have fun and drive fast with very few mods. I would corner balance the car if I were to invest in a set of coilovers though.
