New Local M3 Owner
Hey guys picked up my new M3 E90 manual yesterday AW on black with ZCP and more. So far loving it but waiting for the rain to end, Give it 4 or 5 months. This is my 3rd M car, 2010 X5M (still have), 1M coupe and now this M3. Have always wanted an M3 and so far this car is everything I wanted that the 1M wasn't. Looking forward to some local drives or events. Keep me posted. Pics to follow when it clears a bit.

Welcome!! Good timing, if Bruza's little spur of the moment gtg goes down you can show off your new whip off and meet the other locals.

Just curious, would you mind expanding on that? The 1M is getting a lot of good publicity right now. Things like "best M since the early M3s", "back to the source" and such. Curious to hear from someone who has owned both.

1M was a great car but was always on 100%. When sitting in it you could totally tell it was a parts car. Refinement levels in my opinion in the M3 are leaps and bounds above the 1M. Exhaust note was no comparison. Throttle response and steering input is much more defined in the m3. 1m was point and hold on. Like i said above 1M was a great fun car that looked cool as hell but for me not what I was looking for as a second. M3 E90 so far is alot more of what I like a fast fun great handeling car I can carry my two kids around in.
