Hmmm .... Well... just this one little mod... I promise...

Yes it's true, I did really enjoy harassing you modded types, but all that body roll was beginning to feel more like piloting an airplane (maybe a boat?). Plus going slow in turns really kills teh buzz.

I blame my wife. After the last track day she says "you really need some suspension." Plus the shoulders of my tires are begging for mercy. "Camber, Justin, please!"

I got megan coilovers. They are cheap, but well respected in the import crowd. We'll see. They feel good on the street. But seriously, all that adjustment is for the birds. What a PITA.

Tomorrow I'm dailing in -3deg on the front and -2 in the rear with a little toe in adjustment too. Some light reading anyone?

Nice! If you were able to log any lap data last time then it will be interesting to see how much quicker you are with new suspension.

Before my suspension, dedicated track wheels & tires I was consistently running 1:34-1:35 at Harris Hill Road near Austin. Now, with very very worn Nittos NT-01 (at the time) I was running in the low 1:30.00-1:30.95s. Huge difference. I'll be heading back soon to see what the Hoosier R6s will help me lay down.

Now it's time to work on that driver guy....

So what's the story with AltF4? Were you the guy that originally sent out the chain letter back in the 90's telling people to press Alt+F4 to speed up their computers??

Busted. Heh

No, it's a geeky gaming thing, mainly from the PC Quake series a long time ago. If someone is being pummeled they usually start complaining asking how your kicking the crap out of them. Most respond with, "Hold down the Alt key then press F4, it'll speed your game up." Poof, they are gone.

The gamer geeks get it. It's old school. Ha!

Yes I got 40-some laps of data last time. 1:55 was a good lap for me then (and I think your bests were probably 1-2 sec faster).

Watching others videos, I anticipate a higher speed in steady state turns (like the hairpins - currently around 40ish) I've seen others' videos driving my line, at similar top speeds, holding 50 earning them about 5 sec improvement in lap time.

my first time at TWS, but my best laps were around 2:05 and it felt very VERY good.

I'm still getting used to Harry's Lap Timer, so I missed most of my laps, but I got this 2:10 on video.

What a great car! Way into retirement age and completely crushing it!

Man, I can't wait to shred TWS. I was in College Station over the weekend but for other things.

One tip on Harry's, take the phone and jam it against the windshield to hold it steady. Works:
