I trapped 150 at my highest from a dig at the GA wanna go fast with a 625kit ess frank smith tuned E90m3 with secondary cats still in place. so I wouldn't count out a car getting beat by a kit that makes more than I do if it was stock or a manual on top of that.

Nothing like killing a menacing opponent.
Our C6Z06 holds the CIS-Eastern European record for StreetRWD class.
Many a built GTRs, Vipers and boosted BMWs have fallen.

BTW - your ride looks really clean. Very nice. Enjoy hunting down your next victim!

Technically speaking stingray is its own model (base car) gransport is the na z06 (lack of better words) and then the mighty z06.

But, I don't doubt it was a z06 possibly manual. I'm not far out from a roll on my buddies z06 (7speed) with just a 625 kit on hfc. gets the slight jump and then pretty even.

Big difference between half mile trap and low (40-ish) speed roll race. Drag on the Z06 body car is huge above 130.

At 40mph the Z06 is in first gear and making 650 ft-lbs at those revs. It either spins or pulls hard on a centri e92.

You raced a stingray.

Do you have a video? Sounds like a good race. What starting speed? Which stage aero on the Z06. What gear did the Z06 start in and which traction mode was it in?

I don't have a video I believe he recorded it on his in car data recorder. We both had a passenger started from a roll at about 50mph. I was in top of second and he was in third I believe. We raced 2-3 times up to about 14x-15x. He always leaves traction on in sport mode.

I've raced a stingray and gapped it extremely bad by bus lengths.. now the C7Z I left him while he had the jump and got him by 2,3 car lengths and couldn't reel me in. So yes, I raced a Stingray and a C7 Z06.

drag is huge on those using a aero package. I've put a two buss on a sting ray lol.. and have been even with a z06 c7 from a 40 and a 50. both of which are 5500-6800 rpm pulls in 2nd for a dct m3 e90.I have a 625kit ecs kit.

BTW we speak in wheel hp and tq and stock z06 isn't making that at the wheels lol...

Sounds about right! Did you know what transmission the C7Z you ran had?

My buddy has a C7 Z06 and I have an E92 with ESS 625 kit, no cats, dyno'd 570 wheel at EAS. Anyways, he pulls on me at any speed. His car has slightly more power, considerably more torque and weighs less.. Don't see how a heavier E93 would stand a chance

When I first saw this thread I was a little confused. I'm 99% sure you were racing a base model C7 OR the corvette was NOT racing.
time for more power and maybe a driver mod.

I've raced both types and a base model gets waxed hard and the Z06 was struggling but on my rear.

Think the problem there is the eas dyno lol... don't get me wrong people make great gains with the mods they do but with the dyno's i've seen leave that shop i'm conviced is a happy dyno...
