M3 Sedan Lease: $836/mo

I finally got an official lease offer from my dealer (dealership manager).

So, I was right about my continued prediction of an M3 lease below $1000/month. I think these numbers are great.

Lease quote is based on the following...

E90 M3 Sedan
Price at MSRP base of $55,875
(53,800 base + 775 destination + 1,300 GGT)
Down payment: $2,500
BMW Financial Services
Per month rate

Money Factor: 0.00280

36 month: [residual]
- 15K: $890 [55%]
- 12K: $862 [57%]
- 10K: $848 [58%]

42 month: [residual]
- 15K: $872 [50%]
- 12K: $849 [52%]
- 10K: $836 [53%]

RED: new info

Based on those numbers, a reasonably optioned sedan at around $65k MSRP should run ~$1100/month with $2.5k down?

I looked back at a post I made in January [HERE], and my estimate of using Price x 1.5299% was really close to this real-quote I got today (1.543% is actually dead-on). Given that factor-estimate of a 1.543% puts you just at exactly $1,000/month ($1,003 & 36/12K/2500 applies).

Its rough, but I'd bet pretty accurate (accurate enough anyway).

I bet the E92 will be a little more expensive though (residual a little lower maybe).

Yep, when I looked into this to make the buy vs. lease decision, I estimated the coupe payments to be around $1100-$1200.

With $0 down and taxes, this looks in line what others have calculated

I would rather buy a loaded 335 before I would get a base M3. So, I am going to get a fully loaded M3!

I received the money factor and some residuals. He provided all of them, however the 42 month 10K & 12K mile %'s don't seem correct. I'm confirming those with him. I should know tomorrow.

But for now, see original post above with new info.

Those match the table pulled from the BMW memo in the earlier thread. The 42 should be 50%, 52% & 53%. The 2% for 12K and 3% for 10K are typical.

For 36 months, 12k miles, base car (MSRP + dest + gas guzzler), using the MF of .00280 (although I thought it was .00275, not a big difference regardless though) and with 0 down payment (around 2500.00 due at signing):

$986.50 a month + tax

You're correct. Dealer confirmed this morning.

Remaining residuals added to the original post above.

What's the base money factor at? is it .00280 or less? How many people will actually get that rate? Probably not too many.

Wow, these payments are getting up there- and this is before you factor in M-DCT......

I'm thinking with that and a price of 70k your looking at a payment closer to $1,300.
