Well, I think what has lead to me being sick is having wind hit the back of my head/neck.

Every time I've gotten sick (recently at least) it's because of this.
And unfortunately, I cannot drive with the windows up for too long as it get stuffy.. so i put the windows down a little to breathe.. but then yeah

the reason i said $5 is cause i can order it shipped for about $5....but if possible I'd like to pick it up today

I mean, $10, or something is fine.
i just don't want to go and spend like $20 or 30 on something I won't use that often

On a different note... Jason your friend indohan seems to have quite the temper...and is more stubborn than me, which is rare.

I don't think there is any correlation between wind hitting your neck and being sick.

I don't know bro... the last 4 times I've gotten sick in the past 3 months it was after I had the windows cracked at night and felt my neck getting cold...

What's probably happening is that you're driving for an extended period of time so your entire body is getting cold (but the feeling is more pronounced in the neck), thus lowering your body temperature which in turn, lowers your immune system and allows you to get sick.

Don't know what to tell you. I've gone to the snow for a week not gotten sick, but gone to palm springs for 3 days in 110 heat and gotten a cold... I really don't think it has any correlation. And I've seen several science shows that say the same thing. You ge sick from bacteria, not from cold air on your neck...

Just sayin.

i noticed someone is trying to gain weight: first things first... you need to determine your current RMR (resting metabolic weight)... once that's determined then you can structure a proper diet along with a structured workout so you can burn a certain amount and still be putting on weight.

trust me... i've dropped from 245lbs @ 28% body fat down to 162lbs @ 12% body fat... am current sitting heavy at 200lbs @ 22% body fat. i can go into serious detail about diets, calorie counting, workouts for gaining, losing, leaning etc... hahaha... just to show ya'll i'm not BSing:

You guys were talking about exotic foods a few pages back, I found this place in Oxnard that has Gator, Ostrich, Kangaroo and Turtle tacos. Its called Luigi Ortegas on Ventura rd and Doris, anyone been there and ordered from the exotic menu?

I've been to the one in Pasadena (had no idea that there was one in Oxnard). The food is ok, but skip over the exotic tacos. They're a rip. Maybe the exotic burritos are better, but all of the exotic meat tasted the same to me.

I think it's also that it hits my forehead.. driving tonight, i had it cracked a little and it was hitting my head so i started to feel worse.. pulled over and put my beanie on and felt better :P

I get sick about once every other month... and stay sick for about a week. My immune system is crap.
and i take my multi vitamins, drink my juices, and well i don't go to the gym to exercise that often... but i do 'activity' about 4-5 times a week, minus about a week out of the month... so I don't know why I keep getting sick all the damn time. I hate it

I also think I'm sick cause of the change in temperature... hot to cold to hot weekend back to cold late sunday/monday...
