Question X-pipes (resonator delete) with stock system?

Hey guys,

I really enjoy the sound of the M3 stock exhaust which has a very distinctive metallic sound. But, it is a little quiet...

I know that there are plenty of aftermarket exhausts available, and some of them sound awesome, but none of sound similar to the stock system.

So I am thinking about doing a resonator delete w x-pipes. So far I have found pipes by SuperSprint and our favorite company Eisenhaus. Anyone have any experience with these products?

Burn a cd of a uTube sound track of a Eisenmann Sports Exhaust and play it loud while you drive around.

Your sound system is louder than the standard exhaust.

So, are there any ways to amplify the sound of the stock exhaust? X-pipe? DP?

Thanks.
Rldzhao, how's that Red Bull going, I am suprised you have not done your exhaust yet?

i was interested in doing the same thing.
I called supersprint/hammann, and the res delete x pipe is not a direct bolt on. so i decided not to do it.

There is a video on this forum where a guy replaced the resonators with straight pipes...

The Supersprint x-pipe that you posted looks different than what Supersprint has up on their site.

Although they list the following picture as a "' X - Pipe ' + Centre exhaust", which is only available through Hamann.

Edit: I just noticed that you pulled that picture from the NA site. Interesting that you can only get the X-pipe (granted a modified version) from Supersprint NA, but Europeans are pretty much forced to go to Hamann.
