The car turned out great! I like the detail of the gloss black Dinan badge.

First of all, congratulations! Your car looks great!

Are those real "GTS Wheels" or did you powder coat the silver ZCP wheels black? I have a competition package M3 and I am considering either powder coating my wheels gloss black or selling them and picking up a set of "OEM GTS" wheels.

If they are the OEM GTS Wheels, are you happy with them? How is the finish? And if you don't mind me asking, where did you get them?

I am still on the fence on this. I have a space grey e92 and I actually think the silver is a nice contrast to the rather "dark" features of the car (black grills, gills, tinted windows, trim, etc.). On the other hand, part of me thinks the black GTS wheels would tie in with the black accents quite well.

Thanks for your input! Enjoy your beautiful car

Looking really god man! Very similar to mine I see you were able to find a shop to paint your Dinan badge, so I'm glad that ended up working out for you! It would be cool if we could get a shoot of our cars together seeing at they're nearly identical haha. Planning to go to Bimmerfest or MFest??

The numbers were a bit low. For what it's worth, I made 379 whp, 253 ft-lbs based on uncorrected numbers (51 deg F, 40% humidity).

You can see the base-line run of a stock E92, along with some other modded E9Xs, here:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=647794

But relative to all the other M3 guys in town that have dynoed with similar mods, I'm actually making similar power. I guess the dyno here in town is much more conservative than others on this forum.

The Dinan badge is holding up fine. My shop actually sanded it a bit to rough up the surface so the paint will adhere. Two coats of black paint, two coats of clear coat.

Yes, they are real GTS wheels that came painted a matte black with a slight shine. The wheels are manufactured in Germany (At the time, the wheels were on national back-order for 3 weeks). I ordered them from Tischer. www.getbmwparts.com. If you need help, PM Evan, he's a sponsor on this forum.
