Would you drive on these?

I live in the Northeast, and I was planning to swap my winter setup for my summer setup this weekend. As I was getting my summer wheels out, I noticed that one of the rear tires has a sidewall bubble on the inside of the tire (closest to axle).

I have absolutely no idea when this occurred. It could have happened the day before I took off my summer tires or months before. I had a BMW dealer install my winter setup (needed to get new winter tires mounted). They didn't mention anything about this when they took it off, but they probably didn't inspect them.

Would you drive on this tire? It would be great if you could reply ASAP, I need to make a decision within the next 12 hours.

My guess is that it's probably best to purchase two new tires for the rear. Maybe I should make this an opportunity to look for someone selling their ZCP 359s with at least some rubber left.

Other relevant details:
-Nitto Invo 285/25R20
-Drive about once a week
-Have a 120-mile drive tomorrow (I live about 120 miles from where I keep my off-season setup).

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I would definitely replace both rears... Actually all 4 because Invos suck

Thanks for the prompt reply. What do you recommend instead? Michelin PSS?

Definitely replace that tire and do NOT drive on it. The sidewall is damaged and will eventually lead to a blowout if you continue to drive on it. Check closely for any nails in that tire. Sometime like that only happens due to driving with low tire pressure or impacting the tire very hard.

Yes that would be my #1 choice for 20" wheels.

That's a bummer. I noticed a sidewall bubble on one of my tires last month after a tire swap. I wonder if the shop might have damaged it somehow. Don't risk a blowout by driving on it.

How about mine? I think it is just getting broken in. One of my rear 265/40/18 PS2. The other is similar.

This is a blessing. Invo's are terrible and I echo other's views about getting some Michelin PSS.

Time to change tires, PSS are a great choice.

I am on PSS now (see Post #9) and like them. They are on the expensive side, but I wanted great performance without much sacrifice. There are certainly cheaper options like the Hankook V12 and others, but they give up aspects I did not want to give up.
