FS: 2008 E92 M3 AW/Blk DCT for $37.5K
Offering this for a friend who is not on the forum. 2008 E92 M3 DCT -18K miles Car was rebuilt after a right side accident. It has a Florida crash certificate "title". The car will be difficult to title in some states due to this. Only new BMW parts were used in the reconstruction. I was going to make a track car out of it, but its just too nice to not drive more often. It drives straight and tight. Location: NY. Alpine White/ Extended Black leather interior. Perfect CF Roof. EDC Carbon Leather Trim Premium Package Technology Package Navigation/IPOD/USB/Sat/IPOD cable/bluetooth Comfort access 19” Premium wheels Because of the title, car comes with no warranty. PM me with interest. MJ Last edited by ixm3; 01-03-2012 at 07:25 PM.. |

Tell me about it. It really is a great car. The more I tell folks about it, the more I reconsider to keep it. It doesn't have a scratch, has been rebuilt right- with no shortcuts- and the price is right too. I just wish it had a 6MT. The CF roof is like a sheet of glass.

You should state if it has ALL airbags; that's a typical shortcut rebuilders take. And yes, pics of the crash and the rebuild, as well as copies of invoiced parts would add a lot more credibility. When an insurance company totals a car, it's because it costs more to rebuild it properly than the car is worth, so smart people take those claims with a grain of salt. Nobody is going to spend more to rebuild than the car is worth, right?
I personally wouldn't advertise such a car even if it was my brother's, but to each his own. Hope nobody gets burned. Good luck with the sale. |

All airbags are present adn none were deployed.
All the data you are talking about is available to individuals serious interested in the car. If I hadn't done this level of due diligence in determining my own interest the car, I couldn't state the documentation is present. I agree with a lot of what you say, but would add that when some people spend 70K on a car which has barely been driven and it gets hit, they no longer want to be involved in its ownership and will pursue available means to get themselves out of the car. Once such means is totally a car that might not otherwise need to be totalled. Quote:

You guys should definetly grab this.. Its actually a GREAT deal for the price if all repairs were done right. My best guestimated value on these type of cars based on past experience of having worked at an autobody shop is usually about 15 - 20% bellow book value even for the best repairs jobs. But Please share crash pics.

so does it have a certificate of destruction or a rebuilt title? if it's the former it's going to be dang near impossible to title in most places....
