Active Autowerke| Level 2 Supercharged Dyno Results

M3post,

I had the pleasure of taking a customer's car over to the dynojet yesterday to get some apples vs apples comparison's against the other kits on the market. The temps were hovering in the 90 Deg mark in Miami yesterday but our kit still pulled through with some excellent numbers.

Enjoy

Car specs:

2010 E92 m3 Dct

-Active Autowerke level 2 W/ Meth (Off the shelf kit)
-Active Autowerke Full Exhaust (Catless)

The torque is pretty good relative to the horsepower. I think the fast spinning planetary gear drive blowers like the HKS, Rotrex and ASA have a slight advantage over the Vortech in this regard.

Yes it only makes around 10 hp more than the old kit. All of our stage 2 kits now come with the 8555 blower.

Awesome! In recent videos, finally, people can visually see what awesome midrange power and torque your kit makes and how it equates to a monster car to drive!

What's the increase in torque vs. the old GTS8550?

Any change in the redline from 8,100rpm?

I hear ya loud and clear!

The HKS and Rotrex Supercharger are definitely my favorite. I am assuming one of the reason why AA and another company choose these chargers simply because of their power delivery. Hopefully people can see what the meaning of "area under the curve" is and how that translates to street and track performance.

Plus FMICs and Meth are always nice for consistent power.

Redline is still 8100 and the tq is only around 5 lbs more.

We have the rights to the Hks Blower so you wont see it on any other kits.

So I guess this is just a change in blower choice, not a "upgrade"? Is it something that could be a up-sell to increase performance and justify the cost?
