There are several comments in this thread about how the silver on this car is so much nicer than SSII. It's not.

It is SSII. Since these are very professional photos, one never knows what lens filters were used or how they were retouched. If you look at the sky, background vegetation, and other color cues, you can see they were color-altered.

Everyone has different taste in colors, and I happen to think SSII is stunning without any help from digital image enhancement.

Exactly true! The car is the original SilverStone color, and looks beautiful in person, in every light.

SilverStone is a tough color to modify correctly, I think, but when everything comes together it can make for a beautiful car.

Here's a photo that shows the more blue side of SilverStone:

Beautiful car John!!!!

The first time I saw a photo of your car it set me in the direction I wanted to go with my car when picking mods. It is one of the most tastefully modded cars on the Forum and looks clean and Amazing.

I am going to be in Chicago around July 15th so that IND can get some photos of my car......... it would be great to be able to get a look at your car in person and I can only hope my car looks as good in the photos as yours does.

All good things must come to an end, and John, the owner of the Silver Standard is moving forward and selling his beautiful E93 M3.

IND has been outright blessed to have a client as wonderful to work with as John, so I hope that my endorsement of his M3 can help it to find a good home. After all of these years and many more Portfolio cars after John's, his SilverStone E93 M3 is one that still makes me stop and stare every time it pulls up to IND. The car is so special to all of us here that we took it back to BimmerFest this year, three years after it was first completed.

We are extremely proud of the Silver Standard, and we hope that it's next owner will love it as much as John and all of us at IND did.
