can't believe your driving all the way to CA with the Ericsson front....why dont you drive there with the OEM front, then swap to the Ericson at the meet?

Our car is all ready to go. Here is pix of our car on our shop. Excuse our dirty shop...we were extremely busy to finish off this car. Last minute, we changed the tires to Bridgestone RE050A Pole Position. 255/30/20 and 285/30/20. Last edited by GTM; 05-06-2009 at 04:33 PM.. |

We knew this day will be much better than the other days since we drive thru Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. Our destination was Lag Vegas by end of the day. In the middle of nowhere in New Mexico, we started to loose air on two wheels. It was very slow leak, so we used OEM air pump to put it right pressure. It was good enough to make it to Albuquerque, New Mexico for some help from Discounted Tires. It was loose valve stem lock nuts, which Discounted Tires in Albuquerque took care of it without any hassle. Thank you! One of MANY COPS we have encounter on this road trip. Somewhere in New Mexico... Abandoned Gas station. Some nice road in Arizona... Hoover dam! Arrived....at Las Vegas!(Sorry for iphone pix) |

For return trip, we decided to take Utah/Colorado route. It was WAAAAAAAAAY COOLER road, we had so much fun driving thru Utah and Colorado. Greg and I never been to these states, and siteseeing was just We covered about 1,000 miles this day...arrived at North Platte Nebraska around 1:00am. UTAH!! Crazy bug we found on Ericsson front bumper. Nice drive.....we had so much fun. Now...Colorado!! Temp went down low as 33F and started to snow very little..... I got pretty scared because we had summer tires on... Altitude went up to 11,000ft, and our M3 felt like it is only making like 200hp. What a difference it makes!!! Booooooring Nebraska..... |

We only had 700 miles to cover...for this day.. In Iowa... Break down of our trip.. Avg. Speed : 80mph Ave. MPG : 20mpg(pretty impressive considering...wider tires, wheels, and luggages.) Mileage : est 4000 miles Speeding Ticket : 1(warning ticket we got in Nebraska...doing 82 on 75!!!!!. We found this pretty funny...thinking how fast we were going in other areas... ) |
