Arrow BMW Performance Seats

Where can I get them from?

Also I heard that the computer would throw a fault code after installation due to the air bags. Does anyone have more information on this?

Turner Motorsport has them.

The seats still have the air bags so they shouldn't throw a code.

It's not the airbags, it's the occupancy sensor which is different than US models.

You will get a code if installed in a US car.

You can bypass the occupancy sensor.

The seats can be ordered from Turner, and RoverActive. I think HMS should be able to get them as well.

Through programming yes, I doubt any BMW dealer would do this. We have a OC3 module that will be released shortly to counteract this.

I read something about a code isolater being out? Maybe not yet, but someone with aftermarket seats mentioned it I believe.

I have a prototype working (M3 has Pole Positions, no airbags or occupancy sensor) with no codes as we speak.

Boards are now being assembled.

We can get them for those that want authenticity.

To be honest, I don't see why when the Recaro Sportser CS weighs/costs much less.

Nice, that should allow for Euro seat conversion as well then

Good point, since the euro seat bottoms have a different OC3 mat.

Does the airbag still work with a warning light or with the eas module?

I thought I read somewhere they're not much lighter than stock?
But they sure are pretty.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Not really, since the Performance Seats still retain the seat airbags - if you're looking to save weight, get the Sportster CS seats instead (same thing, sans airbags). Those that have the Performance seats should know they utilize a euro OC3 mat which is different than US standards and will throw a code.

The OC3 module will turn off the passenger side airbag, illuminating the lamp in the sunroof panel as a reminder.
