I've seen ranges all the way from 60-90. I typically torque down to around 85-90. No issues as of yet

It depends on which studs you buy and what the manufacturer recommends. I bought mine from Bimmerworld and they recommended 60lbs when torquing the stud and 75lbs when torquing the nut.

That torque spec for the stud seems extremely high. I've always done 30 ft-lbs on the stud and 88 ft-lbs on the nut. No issues and my car is dual duty and sees a few track days per year. FYI, I have the APEX stud conversion kit and 30 ft-lbs is what they recommend for the stud itself, along with red thread locker.

Can't remember where I got mine. Either Turner or Vorshlag. I torqued bolts to 40lbs with red lock tight. Going to torque nuts to 88. Thanks for the feedback.
