Leg63, what's the button to the right of the driver's heated seat button? There have been posts about this but I don't think anyone figured it out.

Oh, and congrats on your M3!

Oh, and congrats on your M3!
I believe it activates the front PDC. US models won't have that button.

Very nice pics! Now who's gonna make an aftermarket carbon fiber leather shift boot?

Congrats, you're going to have fun!!

Ya know, I'm surprised they didn't integrate the M-DCT shifter into the iDrive knob. But I sure am glad they didn't! Enjoy.

How did the topic go to PDC so quickly, you'd think that one of the first M-DKG cars would get it attention from say.. the transmission.

Congrats, Leg63

You car seems to have Nav, why no esc button between the DSC and Power buttons to the left of the M-DKG lever?

Do you mean EDC button? You can get Nav as a standalone option w/o EDC.

Right now it is quite difficult to give you an objective review. The weather here is very bad 3°C and it is raining a lot. The only thing I can say is compare to the previous M3 E46 - SMG II I had, the new one seems to be much better. You can configure it in many ways (maybe too much), it took us (me and the reseller) more than one hour to look at few parameters, apparently the M-DCT has also a special feature called 'Shift Light' telling you the best time to change you gear.

But again give me more time and I'll let you know.

I believe they have that on the E46 SMG II too ! Yeah, once the weather is nice, looking forward for some more review !

Does anyone else think that the idrive knob seemed to clash a bit with the DKG shiftknob in some of those pictures? The idrive knob with the black rubber texture would of matched a bit better I think.

Other than that, its awesome. Congrats on such a beast of a machine!
