Anyone driven from SF to LA recently? Is there still construction?

I drove from LA to SF 2 months ago and there was crazy construction on the 5. Does anyone know if it is still there? Around Bakersfield area I believe.

Nope. Did the trip this weekend at a very reasonable speed in about 5 hrs. Averaged 32 mpg as well there and back.

Nice! Google maps is giving me a 6 hour estimate from Palo Alto to Glendale. Not sure why.

Because they gauge the travel time with 65 mph speed limit...

Made the same trip the beginning of October, and hit a couple of stretches where I-5 went down to a single lane. Did they finish construction on those stretches?

I guess so because I really did not notice anything out of the ordinary. It was 2 lanes throughout
