Well..that really blows...how hard is it to build some F****ing wheels. Sorry, this just really pisses me off! Any idea how long of a delay?

Congrats Greg! I just went to status 150 today. I am betting that my build was initially delayed due to the 19" wheels. It was scheduled for the last week of Jan.

Anyway, your car sounds great.

If I have this right, you're going to have the bumper painted after filling the markers?

I also like your center console idea. What are they charging you for the console and how much for labor?

So, you bit the bullet on the Enhanced Premium Sound! Me too!

It is pretty ridiculous. I understand your pain. Audi has a similar issue with the panoramic sunroof supplier which is delaying S5 allocations. This stuff should really not happen at this stage.

Thanks,

I am familiar with the owner's circle, but what is the hotline and is there a number?

Well, on my E46 I waited until the front bumper sustained some damage before I replaced it with the Euro one. We'll see how brave I am when it comes down to doing it to a new car!

There is no price in the system yet. Installation should be fairly easy. Given that full extended leather is an extra $1,100, I'm willing to spend about half of that or so just to do the console, say $600-700. I'll post any information I find out.

Yeah, I went back and forth on that. When the price came in reasonable on the other stuff and I also decided to go non-metallic, I decided to go for it.

BMW Customer Service - 800.831.1117. I notice they don't put this number on the website any more (at least I couldn't find it).
They only give you general status, though, not the production codes. Your dealer's system is still the best and most detailed source of information.

My car officially completed production yesterday--waiting for vessel assignment!

March 8 is looking solid.

CA did not give me exact status code. I'll check tomorrow.

E, you simply are NOT allowed to post on anyone's order thread once the order reaches the Atlantic transport stage!
