My M3 meets 997.2 GT3

Already I think the 997.2 GT3 has established itself as the most exciting 911 in production, Porsche up the game even more with the 997.2 GT3 RS. 450 HP from 3.6 Liters, 8800 rpm redline, 6 speed and only 2960 lbs weight. What an amazing piece of machine this is.

The turbo was crazy fast and very comfortable, great all weather car.
The GT3 is more raw compared to the turbo, it's a track ready car that you can drive daily if you wanted to. And the sound is intoxicating between 4k ~ 8500 rpm, this motor loves to rev and the PCCB brakes are fantastic. Plus you don't see many GT3(s)

OP, gorgeous car man; congratulations. How it feels compared to the M3 in city driving? Similar powerbands (low/flat torque, high HP), I assume? Obviously the GT3 must feel quicker/faster everywhere, but curious if engines deliver their power in a similar fashion. Heck, even both rev to 8,400 rpm. By the way, I was surprised to see a split crankcase. Take care.

Thanks. You are right. I have only seen 3 997 GT3 locally in the past few years while I see a 997 turbo atleast once a week. GT3s are incredibly rare.

Nice. I'm not a Porsche guru, but the yellow calipers mean you have ceramic rotors, right? How do they feel? BTW- what are those going for now? Sticker price or super discount?
