You could just....turn it off. AC delete is usually for weight savings, but a bypass pulley isn't going to help you there.

Actually, you delete the A/C to improve cooling. The condenser blocks the radiator and heats up the air before it hits the radiator. There is a significant benefit.

Kind of pointless unless you remove the condenser.

Thanks for advice, guys~

Ultimately, A/C delete is needed for track only car.
But, pulley, shoter belt or some kinds of kits are not shown on internet.

Racing teams make parts for a/c delete, individually?

Good luck with that if you couldn't find this info on your own, but AC is separate tensioner, pulley and belt on most BMW's including this one. Just remove the whole system and use whatever crank pulley of your choice OEM or otherwise and leave the ribs driving the AC belt empty

I don't not believe this 100% correct. But I believe the power steering and AC compressor are on the same belt. this diagram is for a 09+ car but it shows what I am talking about. It is from AA power pulley installation guide.

I have also attached the pre 09 cars. which might just be able to change belts size, but on the 09+ the PS pump goes the other way.

shortcut condenser?

Question.
Shortcut the condenser lines and take condenser out?
Will the AC compressor survive w/o condenser?
Any other issues with this 'solution' ?
That would be the quickest way to increase cooling power of existing radiator.
Anybody any experience with that?
Thanks

what I am doing is taking the condenser out and "looping" the compressor lines that run into the condenser. the AC doesn't run but the compressor does even with the ac off. basically the loop is to keep the AC compressor oil in place, which it shouldn't come out even if not looped.

I will post pics here if the solution I am working with next week.

Is it possible that PS pump runs in reverse?

Derp you're right

A shorter belt looks like it might do the trick though

Hey warp
Any luck with the 'looping' of the condenser lines?
Does it work? Can you post pictures?
Thanks!

Yes did have success in looping line. I will post pics once i am back in town.
Basically you are taking out the Freon, then the condenser, then looping the in/out line of the a/c line....hope that makes sense.

Works great on track and only issue is some time it might throw a CEL since the ECU looks at the AC pressure to see if everything is working. no power pull or any side effects noticed.

Seems to have freed up some cooling to the radiator. But I am still going to seal up the air flow to the radiator to improve cooling.
