Just saw this-I drive 100 miles a day but half is city or more so I can really have a lot of fun with the m3. However it certainly is not uncomfortable on the highway and I actually still have a ton of fun dropping it into 3rd on the highway trip home and from home each day. It is a perfect 100 mile daily IMO! Its what I use mine for.
I would go M5 though for the amt of highway. That extra power would be even more fun at highway speed and the seats are much bigger and comfy. Brand new M5 fits the bill! |

Wait... you want to put 3,000 miles a month on a car worth over 100k?.... scratching my head here...
Well Panamera Turbo is without a doubt the fastest. Run you about 190k Plus. Audi S8 is the most usuable IMO. 100 times more comfortable than the M5 and 7 series class. and AMG series vehicles I only am a fan of the CLS series. Either way, if It was me driving that much I would probably opt for a 535i and get 30 MPG on the freeway with decent power, comfortable seats, and gorgeous style and tech. Or a TDI A8 audi cruiser. So comfy and great mileage as well. Would put you considerably UNDER 100k. But thats only my opinion haha. If you dont want a beater or fuel economy then go for the Panamera Turbo.
