so based on those pictures they covered just the top portion of that lower pipe where the holes are, or the whole pipe? I guess they left the top one open with the wire over it?
I might attempt to do this

4 is too big. 84 mm is standard aftermarket size so ~ 3.25"

I have someone in Ottawa who is going to do this mod for me and is concerned that it may be too loud to pass the noise check for lapping at Calabogie and/or Tremblant. I believe that you've tracked your car at Tremblant. Any problems?

done both tremblant and bogie with this no issues. just on the upper limit of bogie though
