Finally an M3 Owner!!!

I've had the M3 bug for almost three years now and finally pulled the trigger on a 2010 M3 DCT coupe this past weekend. The car has 41,000 miles, Carbon Fiber roof, along with the Navigation system, heated seats, new Michelin tires, etc . The car's condition was pretty much flawless with one prior owner and a clean carfax. I purchased it for 44k.....which I'm hoping was a decent deal!

I had never test driven an M3 prior to purchasing this car, but do have to say I am blown away by the difference in feel/power coming from a 328i.

The thing that has taken a little getting used to is the way the DCT feels as opposed to a regular automatic, to me it kind of feels like there's a slight hesitation upon initially taking off from a complete stop, kinda the way a manual transmission can feel. I have't tried it out on M mode yet, I'm still searching on here for more info on how to use it properly.
I'm a newbie to the M, and look fwd to learning from all the knowledgeable members on here.

your going to love every bit ofit. as for the M button you set it to how you want it in the i drive. you can set alot of things in it just got to go with what you want to be the set up with the push of a button.

I have a 328 as well and hope to hop into an M sometime in the future. Definitely would be fine buying without ever test driving lol.

You’re gonna love every minute behind the wheel!! Plenty of threads here discussing how to get the DCT to come off the line quickly (just make sure your engine has warmed up, before you press that M!!), ENJOY!
