I have 20%, and i covered the sensor on the rearview mirror with a small piece of electric tape. So, the rearview and side mirrors don't dim at all. You won't need them to dim, because with the tint you are never blinded.

I like the tint. I think it's perfect. Forgot to take a pix in front of the shop afterwards because I was in a hurry to head somewhere.

You're welcome. How's the end result?

What brand tint did you get?

I went with ForumlaOne's Pinnacle. I love the result. It's dark enough to give some privacy and is light enough that it doesn't look ghetto.

I got mine done at Rocky Mountain Tint in Livermore (he's the only shop in the area that carries F1 Pinnacle film). The guy was extremely cool. He showed me 30%, 35%, and 40% tint and I couldn't tell the difference. So I decided to stick with 35% all around and 30% in the rear windshield. I'll post some pix up soon (forgot to take one in front of the shop).

35 doesnt give you any privacy during a sunny day, you'll be poker facing a lot when you are looking at people at the red light and they stare right at you

Yeah. I didn't care as much for the day time. My main concern was heat and some privacy at night. I think 15% would have been way too dark for me. I didn't need for people not to see me in the day time so I didn't go with 15%. I think 35% looks really clean though. I was rolling by a line of people waiting for FAST FIVE at a local theater last night and my friends told me a lot of people were checking out my car. lol

I would go 15% or 10%. I have 5% now and it's a tad on the dark side.
