I may have said this before in other threads, but I still think that gains are going to be very similar from most reputable MSS65 DME tuners.

Aside from the gains, I'd encourage you to call or contact all the top tuners out there and decide for yourself. With how advance these cars can get, I think it's rather crucial that you pick someone that you feel comfortable in contacting. Customer service, employee knowledge, and experience go a very long way.

I personally chose Evolve Automotive to tune my E90 M3 since I've only had amazing experiences working with them in setting up my E46 M3.

Best of luck with your decision! I'm sure you'll make a good choice regardless of what route you take.

Did the car feel any different when you drove it hard?

When I have done tunes in the past and when I did a tune on this car it was awesome. I went with EVOLVE. Definitely a noticeable difference. Always helps when you do it with exhaust and intake upgrades!!

You my friend did not get a real tune then. Any member who has had their e9x m3 tuned can tell the difference. Obviously not great but yes there is a difference. At the end of the day all the tuners are doing the same thing and the results will be marginally close enough. Just go with ess and call it day. Thread closed

What makes more power on an otherwise stock M3...an ESS tune or a Procede + PWM meth?

And how much does an ESS tune cost, compared to the cost of a Procede V5 and their meth kit?

Did you do a before and after dyno? What were the numbers? What type of dyno? What other mods? I can't believe no one has asked these questions yet, instead everyone is just telling you what tune to get because it's the best.

Did you do a before and after dyno run?

Don't rely on absolute dyno numbers, they don't mean much...
