Great story man. It is sometimes intimidating to work on a car by yourself but you got through it. Can't wait for the next round of mods.

This is how it's done! Although I done a bunch of easy cosmetic mods myself, I would have never tried to tackle anything more substantial myself...until now. You definitely give me some hope! Might need your wife's help though of course...

Props man for doing everything yourself! I am/was the same way. The first time I popped open the ECU on my brand new 335 to install a tune I was scared shitless of messing it up. But then that went away and I became a pro at it.. Someday I hope to do a SC install on my car myself.

Car looks awesome man!

Did you purposely not match the trunk to the color of the car? I noticed it was a shade darker.

VERY stunning!!

Technically, everything on this car is a "bolt-on" "bolt-off' affair, but it's not that easy. You need the right tools and patience to do the work. You also need to be at least a little handy and confident.

I chuckled when you paid the dealer $120 to change something cosmetic. Personally, I don't have the tools to do a BBK, but I always do my own interior and cosmetic mods.
Thanks! DIY FTMFW!!!

I had the trunk painted when I had my space grey 335, in person it is slightly off, barely noticeable but in DSLR pic it's pretty noticeable I didn't want to have the paint faded in because I wasn't planning on keeping it on forever. A trunk switch-up will be part f the next round of MOD's

you have built almost the exact m3 i have been dreaming about fo years. the only thing i would have done different is the front splitter, but thats just a personal preference and it still looks absolutely fantastic.

Thank you, I appreciate it! Front spoilers and I have a love-hate relationship. I always end up effing them up somehow so I figured I'd do something that give me a little more clearance.
