Your front tire sizes are off. A 265/35 will rub and a 275/35 will REALLY rub. You want 265/30 or 275/30 in the front on a 9.5" wheel. You could also run a 255/35 on the front with that wheel width. I just bought a 9.5" et 22 wheels for my front and plan to run 275/30's.

^^ i agree front tires should be 265/30 or 275/30. if you want 35 profile then it has to be 255/35.

like mentioned above THIS IS ON STOCK OEM HEIGHT. had no problem running these with same tires and offset and using 275 when i had stock height.... i had the invo at that time... also depends on the tires as well.

It will likely depend on your specific tires, how your fenderliner fits and the assembly tolerances of your car. A few of the RAC group buy guys 9" +22 w/Vredestein 255/35's have reported rear fenderliner rubbing at full lock. My car with that setup just barely clears on both sides in the rear and left front. The right front just touches. I can pretty much guarantee that 265/35 Vredesteins (if they had that size) would pretty seriously rub at full lock. So, if the tires you plan to use are the same actual size (or larger) as the Vred's you will likely have rubbing.

As the wheel and tire get pushed out further (decreasing offset value) the likelihood of rubbing at (or near) full lock goes up as the wheel and tire are traveling a larger distance fore and aft as they are turned. A tire that rubs at +22 might clear at +25.

I'm at standard height too although I don't really see how the ride height has much to do with it as the tires move through the same travel envelope no matter where the initial ride height is set with a small variation due to camber settings. I think the PS2's have a more rounded shoulder than the Vred's. I hope it works for you. Be sure to post your results. I don't recall anyone else running 265/35's on the front.

265 35 and 275 35 will not work on our cars. 255/35 is the largest someone should go in the front if you are sticking to a 35 profile. The 295/35 is also the wrong size for the rear.

i meant to say rear height must be 30 not 35... iphone typo in error...

NO i dont recommend on using 35 on the rear with wider tires...

it is... i ran 265/35/19 with stock OEM with no issue... no rubbing at all... not if your drop...

also i have seen people that are drop running the same tires front with no issue at all....

im pretty sure you can still run 275/35/19 on the front with stock suspension....

i ran 275/30/19 with no issue at all on stock suspension and still have a lot of clearance... on the 35 you might get a a rub on a full lock turn so driving daily condition wont have that issue....

just my own experience...

If you are at stock 4x4 height and non-aggressive offsets (I dont' think many are doing this combo), then sure it may work. I am at zcp height which is only a tiny drop from stock and running 255/35/19 with ZCP wheels spaced out 12mm, and it is extremely close especially at full lock. If I were to go 265/35/19, it would definitely rub at lock. Again, this is just my experience. I don't know why in the world you would want to run 265/35 up front anyway unless you are going for a square set-up.

So I guess if you are running a conservative set-up with stock 4x4 height sure...

BTW Sean- there is a HUGE difference between 275/30 and 275/35. 275/30 should be fine of course, but the 275/35 tire is significantly taller than the 30 profile... huge difference there.

My previous Z4M Coupe didnt seem to get better with the addition of springs...only lower with more scraping and a rougher ride. I happen to like the stock springs handling characteristics so Im staying stock as far as suspension goes. I would think about switching to ZCP springs, but for 10mm its not worth it.

Like I said, the stock height is like a 4x4, so I am not surprised it worked. I think even at my ZCP height, it would be a problem just judging by how little clearance I had with the 255/35 ps2's. I would love to hear from someone with a reasonably aggressive rim set-up and a drop try to run 265/35...

BTW- I agree with you about the lowering, esp when running taller tires... Until I find a set-up that will retain the amazing handling characteristics, I will remain stock too. My gap right now with 255/35 and 275/35 isn't bad at all as they are both taller than stock (as is your set-up). Hopefully it is not going to look bad when I put my second set of 20s on this week.

Great! Happy that it's working for you. It's interesting how different the various manufacturers' "same" size tires are. As a heads up, some people are finding the the PZero's can run really large http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...96&postcount=7.
