Update: The first batch of adapters should be completed this week and I'll ship them out asap. I may be able to extend the run by a few units so PM me if you want to get in on this!

Thanks!

Hate to tell you all, but a hockey puck works just fine. Hard and lasts. I used one all last track season, and it is still functionable. Fits perfectly on the jack, and makes perfect contact.

There are many ways to accomplish anything but there is no substitute for using the right tool for the job.

Nice pics. Do you think I will have enough clearance to raise the car from the front lift point with your adapter, with my low-profile jack?

I think mine should arrive today or tomorrow at the latest. But I can't give it a shot until the weekend.

If your car isn't lowered then you should be able to lift it with just a lowpro jack and this adapter. If you need a little extra clearance you could always grab a scrap of 1x6 or 2x6 from the home depot or lowes. Even raising one wheel up can provide enough room to fit most jacks in unless you're really sittin low.

Are you jacking from the front, or the side? That may be a dumb/obvious question, but I haven't tried to slide my jack under the M3 before.

From the front, but just off center. When you look under the nose of the car you'll see that at 10 and 2 o clock there is more clearance for the jack handle. This is because right in the middle there is a drop in the bumper to clear the oil cooler.

I set up a super basic website for anyone else that would like to order one (www.adaptiveeng.com). Enough people have requested these so another production run is in process.

Hope everyone enjoys it!

I received mine yesterday; very nicely made piece that I'm sure will make lifting the front end a heck of a lot easier.

Check out www.adaptiveeng.com for info on how to get one!
