Megan Racing Exhuast...
Does anyone have info on this exhaust? I've heard good things about their exhaust back in my Infiniti G35 days (I settled for a Tanabe) and I wonder if it's the same for the M3. The price is insanely affordable and I wonder if it reflects on the build and quality.

Historically, Megan Racing has made copies of something else. It looks like this is similar in design to the old Vorsteiner, Agency Power, etc, probably a copy of a Japanese exhaust.
Their build quality has been surprisingly good, but longevity has not been excellent. No idea what it sounds like. For $600, buy one and let us know! |

It's very similar to AP's looks. The Vorsteiner only had one muffler and not twin can. I was surprised when I saw this in the HPF website.

I looked up pics of the Megan and Agency Power rear sections out of curiosity. As far as i can tell in photos, its the same exhaust, down to the brackets. must come out of the same factory in asia? anyone actually have the megan?

Finally a company with a decent price. Just because we drive a $70k+ car people think we will shell out ~2k on an exhaust!

I really struggle to understand why the M3 exhausts are so much money. A solid SS slip on exhaust for a car like M3 should be $1,000. I understand Titanium being more. I do not understand paying $3K for SS unit.

Contacted megan, they only make this for the e92 no e90 because they have not tried fitting it on an e90 and don't know what the differences are - ahaha

The megan racing catback is from the same factory as Agency Power. It is NOT a full titanium exhaust but they do have a option with titanium tips and also a stainless steel tip option.

ORLY? I'll have to do some snooping and see for myself then. This might hold me up till I get my MXP.

I know, but it sucks! im sure the cost for the manufacture to produce an e9x m3 rear section exhaust don't cost more then an e46 m3 rear section exhaust to make, which go for ~$500, for a nice piece.

Lol... Titanium is not naturally blue. It's anodizing that gives alloys their blue color.

LOL? I have no idea what your point is. The OP indicated that this is a SS system. I noted that the tips were blue in the video which is a characteristic of a titanium system with yes, burnt tips. Thanks for nothing.
