Mac Help!!!

Any Mac expert out there that can help me, if I download any program( like utorrent) it will fully d/l and when I click on the icon it doesn't open it bounces up and down a couple times then nothing ..... Any help greatly appreciated

You made sure you selected the correct tab and downloaded the mac version?

i dont really know what you are asking, normally if you download a program, it will prompt you if you wanna open it (since it was downloaded off the internet), click yes and it will open it.

most of the time, i drag it into Application and open it from there (if i know i plan on keeping it)

What it the extension, it should be (mostly) .dmg.

I drag it to the apps folder and the drag that onto my desktop. I click on the icon and nothing bounces a couple times and stops

so, you downloaded the app...opened the dmg and drag the app to the application folder...after that you should be able to click the app from the application folder or drag it to your dock. No need to drag it to your desktop, dragging it there might be causing the issue.

No dice buddy, I re-downloaded and tried that, same thing bounces a couple times and nothing

No need to drag it to your desktop, dragging it there might be causing the issue. __________________
