no M Drive Configurator in USA?

I heard that in M5 there is an M button, but there is no M Drive menu in the iDrive. I am talking about the M5s in USA only. Is that true? If it is, there may be chances of the new M3 not having Mdrive configurator in the US. I hope I am wrong.

I think there is a M configurator... The dealership was showing me how it worked.

Which model was his M5(year)? I just went to my dealership here in Lafayette, IN where they had a 2006 M5 for sale. I was considering buying it and when I was fiddling with the iDrive, the configurator was nowhere to be found. When I asked my dealer, he said that only european models have that. I was quite shocked by that. The car didnt have HUD as well, which ofcourse is an option.

Are you talking about the Nav screen on which you can navigate Mdrive? Or Mdrive itself?

I mean the configuration of the MDrive in the iDrive menu. I know that all M5s have idrive as standard.
