That is fine I have no problem with that ... after all we all think somewhat different.

We to still have our first ever BMW a 1987 535is it has seen many miles by now and my daughter (owns her now) has no intention of ever selling the car.

I'm in my 7th BMW and you are right the way my wheel issues were handled "isn't something common that happens too often" as you put it ... still it left a very bad taste in my mouth ... Believe me when I say (and I'm sure you know this as well as I do) quality no longer is what it used to be so one needs to be on guard. Perhaps some day when you reach my age (turned 75 last year feel young at heart like 55 most likely one of few old fellows driving a M3) your way of thinking might change.

My wife's 2002 MINI Cooper S is one of the earliest productions in the US and not once we had a major problems with it.... After all these years it is still in our garage and she has no intentions of selling it.

My E92 335 was also a Sep 2006 production and I also had no issues with it including no HPFP failures & etc..... The car was solid and I truly enjoyed it.

Both the MINI and the E92 had recalls but they were all handled by BMW while the cars were in for service

I really think your wheel cracking and how BMWUSA and BMW Canada handled isn't something common that happens too often.

Good point , as my 2004 WRX STI was one on the first in Canada and never had a single problem. Following year models degraded slightly in durability/reliability.

If you order a new M3 , be sure to get it in race cloth , without sunroof , without ZCP because wheels and suspension you'd want to change first.
Then ,and only then , will you be a worthy and authentic M owner............................................. .............NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahah, I haven't updated my sig yet. I had an '08 E93 M3 on a lease for 3 years. I now own a 2011 E92 M3...
