E92/93 OEM Exhaust Mod $150
Santa brought an aftermarket exhaust this winter, so I am selling my OEM exhaust. Two of the four baffled pipes have been replaced with straight pipe, and the fiberglass packing was retained. The sound is noticably more aggressive, but not obnoxiously loud. The muffler cans were sanded, primed, and have been painted with a flat black, high temp paint. The exhaust has 6000 miles on it. I am only entertaining local pickup offers right now & live in Carlisle, PA. $150! |

I'll call Greyhound and see how this would work. I could tape up the tips and the forward connectors, but don't have a box large enough to fit it without cutting the forward pipes.

When I got my seats they were not in a box. Kid just put bubble wrap on them. Don't kill yourself to do it, but just thought if you could use this approach it may be a cheap option for me Thanks for looking into it. I appreciate it!

I am not 100% sure on the difference between EAS and ACM. I believe EAS does the same mod that my exhaust has. Essentially, the exhaust has four baffled pipes that run across the muffler cans, crossover, and exit out the opposite side. This exhaust has two of the four baffled pipes replaced with straight pipe for more volume. Some of the mods also bypass the resonance chamber which increases volume and drone - this one does not.

Look at their website, you can clearly see the only cut into the part of the muffler that has no packing by the inlets/helmholtz chambers. |
