That sucks. I've been trying to get him to come out for 3 weeks and he keeps canceling on me. Hopefully he comes to you as he said he may come to me after going to Irvine in the morning. If his work wasn't so highly valued on this forum I'd find someone else.

He told me the same thing...that he is going to Irvine in the morning. Tomorrow does not work very well with my schedule, but I am hoping he is able to come by since it is so hard to get him to come out. He did not confirm that he will come for sure but pretty much told me the same thing he told you.

Why did you remove the wheel? Doesn't he do his repairs with the wheel on the car?

Yes he does but I wanted to make it easier and although I've heard nothing but good reports on him I've heard horror stories of wheel repair guys spraying clear coat on the wheel and it seizing up the brakes. I won't do it for him when he finally does come out, he has flaked on me enough that I won't help him anymore.

Yeah, Man, I don't think you have to worry about that with him. You can always cover your brakes and any other area of the car that you think may get overspray on it, but I have heard nothing but good things about Son so doubt he gets overspray anywhere.

Now that I think of it, how does he not get overspray anywhere? I know he tapes part of the tire, but what about the rest of the car and behind the wheel? I think I might just mask everything off with some plastic.
